Convention/Event Packlist

The essential list is kind of organised by importance as well but yeah feel free to comment if I missed anything out.

Essentials

- Wallet: Personal advisory is to not bring too much cash. Avoid bringing your cards if you can and also leave ur IDs and stuff at home if you can. This is to reduce your losses should it get stolen.

- Power bank + charger cable: It's gonna be difficult to find a charging point especially if it's a convention hall, so bring a power bank. You can bring a charger head to use if you're lucky enough to find a charging point and can camp there. Make sure your power bank is fully charged. - Water bottle: Drinks and water at event locations are overpriced as hell. Please stay hydrated.

- Tissues: Both wet and dry types

- Bobby pins and U-Pins: To secure your wigs or other stuff

- Safety pins: In case some parts of your cosplay are over-exposing and you only realised that later on - Contact lens case + Solution/ Eye drops that you can use with contact lens: Your eyes will get super dry during cons [P.s If you want a contact lens guide, I'm making one soon!] - Snacks and food: As I said, overpriced at event locations as well. Bring some snakc bars or stuff that's easy to eat. If you want a full meal then by all means go ahead, but if you don't want to walk into a restaurant in cosplay, stuff like energy bars are a good choice of food. Make sure the events allow you to bring your own food in beforehand.

- Hand sanitiser

- Painkillers for headaches

- Sewing kit: Things to include in said kit are 1) Needle 2) NEEDLE THREADER (I always forget this and suffer later) 3) Thread

- Makeup bag: For makeup touchups, you can bring a cut-down version if you want to save space (unless you find a nice SK to lug ur bag around for you then feel free to throw everything inside LMAO) These are some recommended items to have inside according to AnyaPanda on Youtube + comments: Setting powder, Lipstick, Small pocket mirror, Setting spray, Body paint (if using), Eyelash glue

- Plasters

Optionals if you're a chronic overpacker like me:

- Mints: Bad breath is just a huge turn off man

- Lip Balm: I tend to get very dry lips so yeah

- Floss: Idk maybe you get smth stuck in your teeth and it's just super annoying

- Hot glue gun (Bonus points if you have the cordless type): To repair stuff

- Tape: Again, to repair stuff

- Extra batteries: If your cosplay/props have LEDs, you should also bring something to pry open the battery case

- Cosplay Cards (aka Coscards): Essentially a cosplay business card where you put your socials and stuff.

- Extra collapseable bag / Tote Bag

- Deodorant

- Extra pads/tampons: Sometimes your time of the month comes early/late, or someone else will need them.
